Buildings’ Archaeology

Study and documentation of built structures

Buildings’ Archaeology is a rapidly evolving discipline, thanks to the integration of new technologies of digital modeling, remote sensing and non-intrusive inspection of built structures, such as laserscanning and georadar.

Coupled with these inspections, a thorough description and diachronic interpretation of the constructed elements allows us to reconstruct its history and understand it’s current condition and weaknesses, producing vital information to the subsequent engineering and/or restoration works.
