History

Dryas was founded in 1999, combining a commercial activity of Cultual Heritage consultancy with fundamental research. During it’s first ten years the project accomplished these objectives, establishing Dryas as a quality benchmark of Portuguese Archaeology.

In 2010, the creation of the Dryas Octopetala’s Group introduced a new phase of the original Dryas project, towards the enlargement of the disciplinary scope and internationalization of Dryas.
