Cultural Heritage Impact Studies

Cultural Heritage risk assessment is today a fundamental aspect of every project’s Environmental Impact Study, setting the guidelines of the subsequent mitigation of archaeological impacts.
These studies may integrate several phases and diverse types of specific Archaeology tasks, aiming at the detection and characterization of areas of particular archaeological sensitivity in order to:

•  maximize the conditions of preservation of endangered Cultural Heritage; and
• mitigate any negative impacts, both to cultural heritage and the development of the project.
